The Wisconsin Malayalee Association (WMA) is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political cultural
organization working towards the improvement of the social lifestyle of Keralites (Malayalees) residing in Wisconsin, USA.
Based in Milwaukee, this organization works with the
Keralite community in Wisconsin and strives to play a part in promoting the Kerala heritage and
traditions in this western soil. This association will aim to host and celebrate traditional
festivities of Kerala and organize family get-togethers, cultural and sporting events.
WMA aspires to provide a venue for social and personal growth
through family kinship, non-partisan fellowship and the enrichment of common ethnic values.
It aims to enhance the collective identity of Kerala lineage in Wisconsin, while strengthening
their commitment to the country of domicile, the United States.
Every year, five or six families volunteer as committee members
to organize and conduct the events for that year.
